About us

Freedom Franks serves steamed hotdogs, chips, and sodas the old-fashioned way--from a mobile push cart--while working to promote individual liberty and limited government. We aim to be the "eyesm ears and feet on the ground" in any area we serve for political interest. If you have any political concern, please pass it along to our servers or email us.

Freedom Franks' servers dress in red, white and blue colonial patriot attire. Though many people associate a red colonial frock coat with the red and white British "Redcoat" military uniform of the British Regular Army soldiers, Freedom Franks' civilian-style red frock coat symbolizes (Freedom Franks' founder) Matt Erickson's six-year legal struggle to display a proud American flag his property in Leavenworth, Washington (which enacted four emergency ordinances preventing him from doing so--for more information, see the "Lawsuits" tab at FoundationForLiberty.org).

Since red is the first color described in the American flag, red is the color chosen for the most visible single piece of patriot clothing, the red frock coat. This red, white and blue uniform will serve as Freedom Franks' symbol of the need to work diligently to restore individual liberty and limited government under the Constitution, so America can once again serve as the bright Beacon of Liberty in a world all too full of darkness and despair.

Freedom Franks works to restore individual liberty and limited government, one hot dog at a time.

Freedom Franks is a proud sponsor of the non-profit Foundation For Liberty (also founded by Matt Erickson).

Freedom Franks is a very small first step in what Matt Erickson hopes will one day be a Patriotic Theme Park; a fun-filled place where kids of all ages can learn more of American history and regain a sense of purpose to restore limited government and individual liberty.
